Recipe ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) vegetable oil*
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) basmati rice
  • 3 cups (750 mL) vegetable (or chicken*) broth
  • 3/4 cup (180 mL) frozen green peas*
  • 1/2 red pepper, diced small
  • 45 ml (3 c. à s.) fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

In a pot, heat the oil and add the rice. Stir gently and add the remaining ingredients.
Cook until liquid evaporates and rice is soft. Season as needed and serve.
