Recipe ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) crabmeat
  • 1 cup (250 mL) finely chopped bok choy
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Canadian Havarti
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) sesame oil

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.

In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Add onions, crabmeat and bok choy. Salt and pepper; stir well.

In an ovenproof pan, heat oil over medium heat for 30 seconds. Add egg mixture and stir with spatula until egg starts to scramble but is still moist.

Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until egg is firmly set and cheese is melted.
Remove from oven, drizzle with sesame oil and serve immediately.

Suggestion

For a change of taste, try this recipe with Canadian Gruyère or Colby.
