Recipe ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) dried rosemary
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 lb. (500 g) Quebec pork kebab cubes
- 1 green pepper, cubed
- 4 large coffee coloured mushrooms
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Mix the oil, rosemary and pepper and marinate the pork cubes in it 20 min. or 1 to 6 hrs. for added flavour.
Thread the pork cubes and peppers onto skewers with mushrooms in the middle. Pepper to taste. Grill over medium heat on the barbecue, under the oven grill or in an electric grill 6 to 12 min. When half-cooked, turn with food tongs and brush with marinade. Salt after cooking. Serve with a commercial tzatziki sauce.
