Recipe ingredients
- 4 Red Grill Angus strip loin grilling steak, 5 to 6 oz. (150 to 180 g) each
- Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) oil*
- 1 cup (250 mL) dried tomato and oregano dressing*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) molasses
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Tamari sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh chopped rosemary
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) red wine
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) 15% M.F. heavy or 35% M.F. cream*
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
In a pan, combine all basting sauce ingredients and boil 2 minutes, stirring gently.
Coat steaks with the sauce and grill 3 to 5 minutes on each side, basting regularly during cooking.
Suggestion
Basting sauce with a sweet ingredient is more likely to burn meat. Make sure the barbecue is not too hot to keep meat from burning before it is cooked.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
