Recipe ingredients
- 4 whole wheat kaiser rolls
- As required, Irresistible Robusto olive oil*
- As required, Irresistible Herbes de Provence dip*
- 1 can chunk tuna packed in water*
- 8 red onion rings
- As required, pitted black olives*
- 1 Irresistible hothouse tomato*, sliced
- 4 leaf lettuce leaves
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- Carrot and cranberry salad* (deli/food to go counter) to taste
- Vegetable chips* to taste
Preparation
Slice kaisers in two and brush with a bit of olive oil.
Toast in the oven.
Spread Herbes de Provence dip on toasted kaisers.
Drain tuna and lay over dip. Top with onion rings, black olives, a tomato slice and a lettuce leaf.
Garnish with a teaspoon (5 mL) of Herbes de Provence dip and a sprig of thyme.
