Recipe ingredients

  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles organic safflower oil*
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) sesame oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) grated, peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles turmeric*
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistibles chili (spice)*
  • 1 lb. (454 g) turkey leg, cubed
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chopped lemon grass
  • 1 cup (250 mL) water
  • 1 cup (250 mL) coconut milk
  • 7 oz. (200 g) snow peas
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chopped coriander

Preparation

Heat oils in a wok over medium heat.
Sauté onions for a few seconds.
Add ginger, turmeric and chili.
Add cubed turkey, and sauté for 3 - 4 minutes.
Add garlic, lemon grass, water and coconut milk.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.
Add peas and cook for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in coriander.

Suggestion

Serve with basmati rice.
