Vegetable Stir-fry with Oyster Sauce

Recipe ingredients
- 1 lb. (450 g) bok choy or other green vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, spinach)
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistibles organic sunflower oil*
- 1 red pepper, in strips
- 1 yellow pepper, in strips
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- ¼ cup (60 mL) water
- 1 – 2 Tbsp. (15 – 30 mL) oyster sauce
Preparation
Blanch vegetables for 45 seconds – 1 minute. Cool immediately under cold running water to stop cooking and keep them bright green.
In a wok or non-stick skillet, heat oil on medium-high.
Add peppers and green vegetable, and stir fry for a few seconds.
Add garlic, water and oyster sauce, and cook for about 2 minutes
Suggestion
When cooking bok choy, cut stalks into pieces and cook them with other vegetables, adding leaves only at the end.Origin: Chinese
