Recipe ingredients

  • 6 petite boiling potatoes, unpeeled
  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) olive oil*or canola oil*
  • 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) sugar* (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) garam masala (powder or paste)
  • Pinch chilli powder

Preparation

Parboil potatoes in simmering water for 10 minutes.
Drain and cut in two.
In a skillet, heat oil on medium-high. Add sugar, garam masala and chilli powder and heat 1 minute.
Add potatoes and cook 5 minutes.
