Recipe ingredients
- 1 Irresistibles baguette*, thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 anchovies, minced
- ⅓ (80 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F (198°C).
Toast sliced baguette in the oven, turning to brown both sides.
In a small bowl, mix garlic, anchovies and olive oil together.
Brush toasted baguette slices with mixture.
Suggestion
Sprinkle grated mozzarella* on top of crostini and broil until cheese is melted.
Crostini are hot Italian open-face sandwiches that make a delicious snack or an excellent first course with an olive-oil-dressed salad.
