Pan-fried Blood Sausage with Apples

Recipe ingredients
- 2 apples
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter*
- Salt to taste
- Pinch Irresistibles cinnamon*
- 4 pieces of blood sausage, 5 oz. (150 g) each
- Vegetable oil* as required
Preparation
Peel and core apples. Cut them into chunks.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, and brown apples.
Sprinkle with salt and cinnamon. Set aside. Prick sausage all over with a fork and brush with oil.
Heat a little oil in the skillet and lightly brown pieces of sausage.
Reduce heat. Cook uncovered for another 8 – 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Add browned apples before serving.
Serve piping hot.
