Recipe ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- ½ lb. (227 g) beef strips
- 1 package rice paper
- ¼ celtuce (Chinese lettuce), shredded
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 package fresh coriander
- Thai peanut sauce to taste
Preparation
In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Sauté beef strips on high heat to desired degree of doneness. Keep warm.
Dip wrappers, one at a time, in warm water until soft. Remove from water.
To make a roll, place some filling (beef strips, celtuce, green onion and coriander) ⅓ up from the edge of a wrapper.
Fold the bottom up tightly over the filling, then side over tightly.
As they are finished, transfer the rolls to a platter and cover with a slightly damp cloth.
Suggestion
Serve with sauce and Chinese noodles.Origin: Japanese
