Recipe ingredients
- 45 mL (3 Tbsp.) Dijon mustard
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) teriyaki sauce
- 15 mL (1 Tbsp.) honey
- 15 mL (1 Tbsp.) Irresistibles olive oil
- 500 g (1 lb) inside round steak, 2 cm (¾ in) thick, cut into 5-mm (¼-in) cubes
- 15 mL (2 Tbsp.) toasted sesame seeds
- 1 lime
- 8 pieces red pepper
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 sprig coriander
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) Irresistibles vinaigrette of your choice
Preparation
In a bowl, combine Dijon mustard, teriyaki sauce, honey and oil. Coat the beef with this mixture. Thread the meat cubes onto wooden skewers that have been soaked in water. Reserve the mustard mixture. Sprinkle sesame seeds onto the brochettes. Thread a variety of vegetables onto other skewers. Preheat barbecue to medium-high and place the veggie brochettes on the oiled grill. Close the cover and cook for 11 minutes, brushing periodically with the Irresistibles vinaigrette. For everything to be ready at once, begin cooking the beef brochettes after 7 minutes. Place them on the grill, close the cover and cook for about 4 minutes for medium rare or to desired doneness, then turn them over. During cooking, brush occasionally with the mustard mixture.
