Recipe ingredients

  • 500 g CATELLI fettuccine
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) butter* or margarine*
  • 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) 35 % whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Parmesan cheese (approx.)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Preparation

Cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain and return to pot.
Melt butter with cream in a separate pot; keep warm.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over fettuccine and toss for 1 minute.
Add cream mixture; continue to toss for 1 minute longer or just until thickened. Sprinkle with parsley and additional cheese, if desired.
