Recipe ingredients
- 1¾ lb. (800 g) mahi-mahi, cut into 4 fillets
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- Marinade
- ⅓ cup (80 mL) low-sodium soy sauce
- 2/5 cup (100 mL) maple syrup*
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chopped ginger
- 6 baby bok choy, blanched and halved lengthways
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) roasted sesame seeds
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) Irresistibles roasted sesame seed oil*
Preparation
In a big bowl, combine marinade ingredients and add fish fillets. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
In a skillet, sear fillets flesh side down for 2 minutes. Turn fish over, cover and continue cooking over low heat for 3 – 4 minutes. Remove and keep warm.
In the same skillet, sear bok choy and add marinade. Reduce by half.
Suggestion
Serve fillets and bok choy sprinkled with sesame seeds and drizzled with sesame oil.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
