Recipe ingredients

  • 1 container of 500 g plain goat milk yogurt (you may also use cow’s milk yogurt)
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Quebec honey
  • ½ cup (125 mL) Quebec strawberries
  • ½ cup (125 mL) Quebec raspberries
  • ½ cup (125 mL) Quebec blueberries
  • 1 ½ cup (750 mL) walnuts or other nuts
  • ½ cup (125 mL) maple syrup
  • Sufficient quantity,  fleur de sel

Preparation

Prepare the caramelized nuts. In a sufficiently large pan, toast the nuts lightly to enhance their flavor. Add the maple syrup amnd continue to cook until the syrup crystallizes. Add the Fleur de sel and spread on a sheet pan to cool. In a bowl, mix yogurt and honey, adding honey until desired sweetness is attained. Fill glasses halfway with yogurt. Add fresh fruit and caramelized nuts. Serve for breakfast or dessert.

Suggestion

The caramelized nuts can be served with drinks, alongside your favorite cheese or as a snack.
