Recipe ingredients
- 4 large scallops
- ½ carton Quebec strawberries
- 3 oz (100 g) bacon
- 1 shallot
- ½ bunch chives
- Butter
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Wash strawberries thoroughly and dice them into small pieces.
Chop the shallot very finely.
Dice the bacon into small pieces and cook in a pan until crunchy. Lay on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
Chop the chives
Combine the strawberries, the shallot, chives and bacon. Adjust seasoning and pepper generously.
Melt some butter in a non-stick pan. When the butter is foaming, sear the scallops on each side. Season well. Be careful not to overcook the scallops.
In an Asian spoon, put a small quantity of the strawberry salsa and lay the scallop on top.
Serve and enjoy.
