Recipe ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) powdered skim milk, non-reconstituted
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated unsweetened coconut
  • 2/3 cup (160 mL) sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) honey*
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) sunflower oil*
  • 2/3 cup (160 mL) Irresistibles smooth peanut butter*

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix powdered milk, coconut and sesame seeds.
In a small pan, heat honey, oil and peanut butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
Remove from heat and add dry ingredients. Work all ingredients in well with your fingertips.
Spread mixture in a 8 inch (20 cm) square baking pan. Pat down evenly; refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Suggestion

Conservation: it is best to store sesame seeds in the refrigerator or freezer to keep from going rancid.
