No, our products are exclusive to our stores and we do not sell wholesale for export.

Q3. Do you have a list of Gluten Free/Nut Free/Fat Free etc. products?

No, we do not have a list of Gluten Free/ Nut Free/ Fat Free products. If you have questions about a specific product you can contact us or call our Customer Care Department toll-free at 1-877-763-7374.

Q1. How does the AIR MILES Reward Program work?

Show your AIR MILES Card for every purchase. AIR MILES reward miles are accumulated weekly (Sunday through Saturday).

Earn 1 AIR MILES reward mile for every $20.00 spent. By picking up designated Bonus AIR MILES items throughout the store you will earn AIR MILES reward miles even faster.

Q2. What can I redeem my AIR MILES reward miles for?

160 AIR MILES reward miles can be redeemed for a $20.00 AIR MILES Grocery Gift Certificate for Metro stores in Ontario, excluding Thunder Bay.

Contact AIR MILES directly for all rewards including flights, car rental, gift cards, and movie passes etc.

Q3. Can I get AIR MILES reward miles without my AIR MILES Collector Card?

Your AIR MILES Collector Card or Collector Number must be provided to the Cashier at the time of purchase.

Q4. What happens if I forgot to present my AIR MILES Card at the time of purchase?

If you notice the error while still in the Store, present your AIR MILES Collector Card to the Customer Service Desk staff, who will then adjust your regular AIR MILES reward miles only. (Please note: BONUS AIR MILES reward miles cannot be adjusted after your groceries have been purchased)

There must be a minimum of $20.00 excluding taxes in one order for an adjustment to be made.

Excludes taxes, tobacco products, lottery, Western Union, gift certificate/gift card purchases, stamps, transit tickets, prescriptions, prescription services and other professional pharmacy services. Valid at participating Metro stores in Ontario, excluding Thunder Bay.

Q7. How do I redeem for my grocery gift certificate from the AIR MILES Reward Program?

You can redeem 160 AIR MILES reward miles for a $20.00 grocery gift certificate redeemable at Metro stores in Ontario (excluding Thunder Bay) by contacting AIR MILES directly at 1-888-247-6453 or 416-226-5171 or visit their web site at www.airmiles.ca.

Q2. Who should I contact if I want to film or take pictures of your store?

Generally, we do not permit filming in our stores. However, if you are a member of the media and are producing a story which is related to our business or the products in our store, we may permit a short segment to be shot. We require at least two days notice of proposed shooting and need specific details as to how the material will be used etc. before providing approval.

If you are shooting a film or a commercial a location fee may be required.

Q1. Tell me about your Charitable Programs?

The Metro Full Plate Program is Metro Ontario’s new employee donation program that has a goal of bringing people together to feed those in need.
Metro has always been a strong supporter of local communities and the Metro Full Plate Program will ensure that communities across Ontario will be positively affected by our employees.
Through the Metro Full Plate Program, our employees have a chance to make a difference in someone’s life. By donating through payroll deduction, they make a difference in your community.
The Metro Full Plate Program supports four food related charities; United Way, Second Harvest, Ontario Association of Food Banks and Breakfast Clubs of Canada.
If you are a local charitable organization with focus on kids seeking a gift certificate or small product donation for your event or cause, use the
store locator <http://www.metro.ca/en/on/trouvez-metro.html> to find the closest store nearest you.
You should apply in writing to the local Store Manager and provide background on your organization, indicate the amount of gift certificate or product requested and how you intend to use the donation. The Store Manager will review the request and decide on the appropriate support.

Q1. Finding the nearest store

To find the nearest store, go to the section Locate your store in the left menu.

Write in your postal code or your city name.

You should find the stores nearest you.

Q2. Unsubscribing to the newsletter

If you have a profile on metro.ca, the phrase "Greetings Name" will appear in the top left corner of the interface.

Select Member's section in the left menu.

Click on Modify my profile.

Enter your e-mail address and password.

Click on Login.

Unmark the option I want the weekly menu planner e-mailed to me and click on the Submit button.

Q3. Registering to the newsletter

If you don't have a profile on the metro.ca website, the phrase Become a member will appear in the top of metro.ca.

At the bottom of the page, you will see Veuillez écrire votre adresse de courriel.

Enter your e-mail address in the reserved space and Validate.

Fill in the necessary fields, and don't forget to check the option I want the weekly menu planner e-mailed to me, if you wish to receive new recipe ideas by e-mail each week.

Click on Submit.

Q4. Modifying my e-mail address

Click on Modify my profile.

Enter your e-mail address and password.

Click on Login.

Modify your e-mail address on the form.

Click on Submit.

Q5. Modifying my profile

To modify your profile, the phrase My profile will appear in the top right corner of metro.ca.

Enter your e-mail address and password and click on Login.

If you forgot your password, a new one can be sent to you by filling in your e-mail address in the field below. Click Send.

You can now modify your profile by filling the membership form. 

Click on Submit.
