Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter *
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil *
- 2 yellow onions, chopped
- 4 x 5 to 6 oz. (4 x 150 to 180 g) T-bone
- 1 cup (250 mL) sliced mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chopped parsley
Preparation
Sauté the onions in butter and oil. Set aside.
Sauté the steak on medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side.Set aside the steak in the oven at very low temperature.
Add the mushrooms, the onions, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Bring to a boil for about 10 minutes.
Add the parsley and serve.
Suggestion
T-bone steaks are best served rare to medium rare. Overcooked, this cut becomes tough.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
