Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean beef, from the rump, cut into strips
- 1 cup (250 mL) broccoli florets
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) fresh ginger, chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) snow peas
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) green onions
Preparation
Sauté the cloves in a wok, in butter and oil.
Add the beef strips, broccoli and ginger. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the snow peas and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped green onions.
Suggestion
Cut the beef against the grain.Origin: Chinese
