Recipe ingredients

  • Blade steak
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh lemon juice or half white vinegar and half lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) Irresistible safflower oil*
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) zest of lemon
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) shallots, sliced
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) sugar*
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) prepared mustard*
  • To taste fresh ground pepper

Preparation

Prick steak several times with a fork, cover with marinade and refrigerate 6 hours, turning the meat from time to time.
Preheat barbecue to medium.
Drain and lay the meat on the grill .
Cook about 12 à 15 minutes per side.
