Recipe ingredients
- Maple jelly sauce:
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chili sauce
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) maple jelly
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise *
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) canola oil *
- 4 boneless centre-cut pork chops, 1 1/2 in. (3 cm) thick each
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 370ºF (185ºC).
in a small pan, mix all maple jelly sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Set aside.
In a frying pan, melt butter and sear pork chops on each side.
Finish cooking in the oven 15 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the chops and serve.
