Pineapple Sauce for Pork

Recipe ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) cornstarch
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) chicken base
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) current or gooseberry jelly
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) brown sugar
- 8 oz. (227 mL) pineapple chunks, drained
Preparation
Mix sauce ingredients with degreased roasting pan juices in a 1 litre (4 cup) glass dish; add pineapple.
Cook 3 minutes at maximum.
Glaze roast with some of this sauce and serve the rest in a sauceboat.
