Recipe ingredients
- 1 9 in. pie crust (1/2 lb.)
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) green onion, minced
- 1 cup (250 mL) broccoli flowerets
- 7 oz. (210 g) canned salmon, drained and flaked
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup (250 mL) milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (250 mL) grated Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
Line a pie pan with the crust and bake at 350°F / 180°C 5 minutes.
Put green onion, broccoli and salmon in the pie shell.
In a bowl, beat eggs and gradually add milk. Stir in seasoning.
Pour into the pie shell and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350°F / 180°C about 45 minutes on the middle rack.
Broil another 3 minutes
Suggestion
To vary this recipe, use crab or chopped cooked shrimp instead of salmon.Occasion: Brunch
