Recipe ingredients
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground beef
- 1 (250 mL) cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 green pepper cut in strips
- 1 (250 mL) cup diced celery
- 3 cups (750 mL) cooked spiral noodles
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) soy sauce *
- Pepper to taste.
Preparation
In a frying pan, brown onion a few minutes. Add ground beef and cook until well-done. Set aside.
In the same frying pan, brown mushrooms, green pepper and celery 5 minutes over medium heat.
Put cooked spirals in a pot and stir in the meat mixture.
Add soy sauce and season to taste. Mix well and cook over low heat a few minutes.
Suggestion
Add a bit of olive oil to the cooked spiral noodles to prevent sticking.Origin: Chinese
