Recipe ingredients
- 6 slices of bread, crusts removed
- 3 egg whites
- 12 large shrimp, shelled
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Peanut oil*.
Preparation
Cut bread slices in half.
In a bowl, lightly beat egg whites, salt and pepper.
Dip shrimp and bread in egg white. Put one shrimp on each half-slice of bread and push down lightly with a spoon.
Heat peanut oil in a wok.
Fry shrimp bread about 2 minutes per side, bread side up first. Drain and serve.
Suggestion
Lightly sprinkle shrimp with soy sauce.Origin: Chinese
