Recipe ingredients

  • 4x5to7 oz(4x150g to 200g) fresh salmon steaks
  • Mixture
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) unsalted butter*
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chopped sweet pickles
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Irresistible paprika*
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped fresh dill
  • To taste Irresistible salt and pepper*

Preparation

Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
Soften butter and mix in remaining basting mix ingredients.
Baste salmon steaks with mix and place them in a grill basket ou foil paper.
Barbecue. Normally, 5 to 7 minutes per side should be sufficient.

Suggestion

Fold edges of steaks over and secure with toothpicks so that they don’t curl up during cooking.
