Grilled Tarragon Marinated Salmon Steaks

Recipe ingredients
- 4 fresh salmon steaks, 5 to 7 oz (150 g to 200 g) each
- Marinade
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) extra virgin olive oil*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) Dijon type mustard*
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 1 lemon grated peel and juice
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chopped fresh tarragon
- Salt and pepper to taste .
Preparation
In a glass bowl, mix marinade ingredients together.
Place salmon steaks in the marinade, coating them well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
Remove salmon steaks from marinade and drain well.
Place steaks in grill basket and cook on oiled grill. Normally, 5 to 7 minutes per side should be sufficient.
