Recipe ingredients
- 16 jumbo shrimps, shell-on
- 2 avocados, diced
- 2 star fruits, sliced
- Marinade
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) lemon juice
- 1 cup (250 mL) garlic and chive dressing *
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) white wine
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) plain low-fat yogurt (2%) *
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chili sauce *
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
Thread ingredients onto 4 brochettes, alternating them. Place in glass dish and set aside.
Mix sauce ingredients In a bowl and pour over brochettes.
Place brochettes in grill basket and barbecue for 2 to 3 minutes, turning frequently.
Suggestion
Shrimp can be cooked with or without the shell. Keeping the shell on keeps flesh moist; cooking without the shell gives the flesh a dryer texture.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
