Recipe ingredients
- 1 1/3 lb. (600 g) fresh turkey, cubed (4 to 6 cubes/skewer)
- 4 fresh pitted peaches, quartered
- 8 fresh pitted plums, halved
- 16 pitted black olives
- Marinade
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 1 sliced red onion
- 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh chopped coriander
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) chicken concentrate
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Mix all marinade ingredients together in a glass bowl. Set some of it aside.
Place cubed turkey in the rest of the marinade, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
Remove turkey from marinade and drain well.
Thread turkey cubes onto 4 skewers, alternating with fruit and olives.
Place kebabs on the oiled grill and cook for 5 minutes per side, basting regularly with reserved marinade.
Suggestion
Multiply the possibilities by varying the fruits used. Replace the peaches with apricots cut in halves and the plums with fresh strawberries or grapes.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
