Recipe ingredients
- 1 lb. (450 g) fresh ground turkey
- 1 cup (250 mL) seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp. (15 m) extra virgin olive oil
- Basting Mix
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 sprig fresh chopped rosemary
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) fresh lemon juice
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, mustard and oil. Make 4 equal-sized patties about 1 cm (3/16 in.) thick. Set aside in the refrigerator.
In a frying pan, cook the onion, garlic and rosemary in a mixture of butter/oil for about 3 minutes. Deglaze with lemon juice. Cool
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
Baste patties with the onion and garlic preparation.
Cook patties for 4 minutes per side.

Adding Dijon mustard to ground turkey brings out the flavour and makes it more tender.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
