Recipe ingredients
- 4 turkey breast steaks, 4 to 5 oz. (120 to 150 g) each
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Maple syrup
- Sauce
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (60 m) Maple syrup
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Nutmeg
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Skinned toasted filberts
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a glass bowl, marinate turkey breast steaks in lemon juice and maple syrup for about 1 hour.
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
Remove steaks from marinade and drain well.
Place the steaks on the oiled grill and barbecue 3 to 5 minutes per side.
Pour sauce ingredients into a pan, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat until desired consistency is reached.
Top steaks with sauce.
Suggestion
To toast filberts, spread them on a cooking sheet and bake at 100ÝC/200ÝF until gold, stirring occasionally.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
