Recipe ingredients
- 4 Turkey breast steaks, 4 to 5 oz. (120 to 150 g) each
- Pesto Basting Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) pesto sauce
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) table cream
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chicken concentrate
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) curry
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) gresh chopped tarragon
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) tabasco sauce
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
In a glass bowl, mix all basting sauce ingredients together.
Baste turkey steaks with sauce.
Place turkey steaks on oiled grill and barbecue 3 to 5 minutes per side.
Suggestion
If pesto sauce is not available, replace it with 15 mL(1 tbsp.) fresh chopped basil and 15 mL (1 tbsp.) grated Parmesan.
