Recipe ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Oka cheese, grated
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh chopped basil
- 1/4 tsp. (2 mL) pepper
- 4 x 5 oz. (4 x 150 g) boneless pork chops,1 1/4 in. (3 cm) thick each
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
In a bowl, mix cheeses, garlic, basil and the pepper.
Cut the chops lengthways to create a pocket.
Divide the cheese mixture into 4 equal parts and insert them into the chops.
In a pan, cook over medium the stuffed chops in butter and oil for 2 to 3 minutes per side to give them a nice colour.
Continue cooking in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
