Recipe ingredients

  • 1 lb. (450 g) fresh ground chicken
  • Herbed Yoghurt Basting Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) 2% plain yoghurt
  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) fresh herbs (chives, parsley, marjoram, chopped coriander)
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chicken concentrate
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon or lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
In a glass bowl, whisk sauce ingredients together until creamy. Set aside.
Ž Mold ground chicken into chicken fingers and place them on a sheet of oiled aluminium foil.
Baste chicken fingers with sauce and barbecue 4 to 5 minutes per side.

Suggestion

To prevent food poisoning, ground meats must be cooked all the way through, until meat and juices are no longer pink.
