Recipe ingredients
- 1 1/3 lb. (600 g) fresh chicken, cubed (4 to 6 cubes/skewer)
- Spicy Marinade
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup (125 m) plain 2% yoghurt
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh grated ginger
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Cayenne pepper
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) tangerine or orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15) tamari sauce
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) liquid honey
Preparation
In a glass bowl, mix marinade ingredients together.
Place chicken cubes in it and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
Remove chicken cubes from marinade, drain well and thread onto skewers.
Place kebabs on the oiled grill and barbecue 3 to 5 minutes per side.
Suggestion
Add 5 mL (1 tsp.) of curry powder and 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) of chopped coriander to intensify marinade's flavour.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
