Recipe ingredients
- 1 lb. (450 g) fresh ground chicken
- Italian Basting Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) italian salad dressing
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) light mayonnaise
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
In a glass bowl, mix sauce ingredients together. Set aside.
Make patties with the ground chicken and place on a sheet of oiled aluminium foil.
Baste chicken patties with sauce and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
Suggestion
For more intense flavour, add herbs to chicken patties and dip them in breadcrumbs.Origin: Italian
