Honey-Fig Compote

Recipe ingredients
- 8 fresh figs
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) liquid honey *
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) orange juice *.
Preparation
Prick the figs.
In a pan, cook figs with honey and orange juice 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.
Remove figs from the syrup with a slotted spoon. Set aside.
Cook syrup a few more minutes until thick.
Place figs in a fruit cup and cover with syrup.
