Recipe ingredients

  • 1 lb. (450 g) foie gras, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) butter*
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped shallots
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles olive oil*
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles balsamic vinegar*

Preparation

Fry slices of foie gras in butter 3-4 minutes over high heat, season with salt and pepper.
Add shallots, garlic and parsley.
Deglaze pan with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Serve with salad.
