Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 1 lb (450 g) fresk pork strips, seasoned or nature
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ground ginger*
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 1 red pepper, cut in strips
- 1 onion, cut in rings
- 2 minced shallots
- 2 cups (500 mL) broccoli florets
- 1 cup (250 mL) Irresistibles organic chicken broth*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Irresistibles soy sauce*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) lime juice
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) cornstarch*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) sesame seeds
- 1 lb (450 g) rice vermicelli
Preparation
Heat the oil in a large skillet or a wok on medium heat.
Add the pork and cook 3 minutes
Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
Place the garlic, ginger and vegetables in the skillet and cook until tender.
Add chicken broth, soy sauce, lime juice, cornstarch and sesame seeds. Reduce to the desired consistency. Add the pork.
In the meantime, cook the vermicelli according to the instructions.
Serve the pork and vegetable mixture on a bed of vermicelli.
