Recipe ingredients
- Dressing
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) sunflower oil
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Irresistibles white wine vinegar*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) dry mustard*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) sugar*
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 ripe avocados, sliced
- 6 ripe nectarines, pitted, cut into pieces
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 6 slices of crisp bacon*, crumbled (optional)
- 1 3/4 cup (430 mL) walnut* halves
- 8 to 10 leaves of Boston lettuce
Preparation
Mix the ingredients for the dressing. Refrigerate.
Place the avocado slices and nectarines pieces in a salad bowl.
Moisten with lemon juice.
Incorporate the bacon and walnuts. Mix delicately.
Line salad bowls with lettuce leaves and place the salad on top.
Add the dressing.
