Recipe ingredients

  • 2 NYNY POM Sliced Sesame Seed Bagels
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. (15 to 30 mL) butter, softened
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 4 canned or fresh pineapple sliced, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) apple sauce or relish
  • 1 1/2 cup (375 mL) grated mix cheese (yellow Cheddar, mozzarella or Emmental)
  • Sprigs of fresh parsley to garnish

Preparation

Preheat the oven to "Broil" to the broiler.
Toast bagels and spread butter
Place one slice cooked ham on each 1/2 bagel.
Top with tomato slice.
Place on tomato a pineapple slice.
Spoon apple sauce or relish into pineapple center.
Mound cheese on pineapple.
Broil 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese is melted and turn light golden.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
