Recipe ingredients
- 1 lb. (450 g) Nordic shrimp
- 12 mini patty shells
- Parsley for garnish
- Béchamel Sauce:
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) butter
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) flour
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) milk
- Filling:
- 1 cup (250 mL) quartered mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups (500 mL) cubed pumpkin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a saucepan, melt butter and add flour.
Add milk in a stream, stirring constantly (about 1-2 minutes) to thicken sauce.
In a skillet, brown mushrooms, onion and pumpkin (do not overcook).
Add béchamel sauce and shrimp and mix gently.
Fill patty shells with mixture.
Garnish with parsley.
