Recipe ingredients
- Dressing
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Dijon mustard*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) cider vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) extra virgin olive oil*
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large Cortland apple
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3 endives, washed and cut into pieces
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) diced Oka cheese
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) toasted walnuts*.
Preparation
In a small bowl, mix dressing ingredients together. Set aside.
Wash, core and dice apple. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
In a large bowl, mix apples with remaining salad ingredients.
Before serving, drizzle with dressing and toss to coat everything.
Suggestion
Cover each plate with Boston lettuce and mound salad on top.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
