Recipe ingredients

  • 1 baguette (230 g) CHAUMIÈRE D'OR
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped, optional
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 12 black olives, stoned and sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 egg, hard boiled
  • 1/2 English cucumber, finely sliced
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 can tuna in water, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Bake baguette according to directions. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together oil, lemon juice and garlic.
Open baguette lengthwise, without separating completely.
Sprinkle with oil mixture.
In another bowl, mix all toppins ingredients.
Arrange lettuce on baguette and top with tuna and olive mixture.
Cut baguette into portions and serve with quartered eggs and tomatoes.
