Recipe ingredients
- 4 cups (1 litre) rigatoni
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) olive oil*
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) sesame seeds
- 1 cup (250 mL) table cream
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) chicken broth*
- 4 cups (1 litre) shredded cooked turkey or chicken
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ground nutmeg*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a pot, cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Set aside.
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and cook garlic, green onions and diced pepper.
Stir in sesame seeds, cream and chicken broth.
Cook until sauce begins to thicken a little.
Add nutmeg and simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve sauce over the rigatoni.
Suggestion
For a different taste, add 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) brandy or cognac to the sauce or replace green pepper with red pepper.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
