Recipe ingredients
- 3 star fruits, sliced
- 12 ground cherries
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) dark rum
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) honey*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) cardamom
Preparation
Melt butter over medium heat.
Brown the fruits.
Add rum, honey and cardamom.
Simmer 3 minutes.
Serve right away.
Suggestion
Star fruit is sweeter when the ribs are slightly browned. Trim ribs with scissors.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
