Recipe ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL)Irresistibles Gluten-free basmati rice
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil*
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ground cumin certified gluten-free
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) sliced Irresistibles mini carrots*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) diced onion
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) frozen green peas*
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) minced garlic
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) golden raisins*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a saucepan, cook rice according to manufacturer's instructions. Set aside.
In a skillet, heat oil and cumin. Add garlic, onion and fry 1 min. Add carrots and sauté 2 min. Add peas and golden raisins. Cook another minute. Stir in cooked rice. Season to taste.
