Recipe ingredients
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) olive oil*
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 pieces of mahi-mahi
- Sauce
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) plain yogurt*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chili sauce*
- 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) minced hot pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) minced lime zest
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) shredded coconut, toasted
Preparation
In a bowl, mix sauce ingredients together, reserving half of the toasted coconut. Season with salt and pepper and keep cool.
In a ridged skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook fish 4-5 minutes per side.
Before serving, put a piece of mahi-mahi on each plate, top with sauce and sprinkle with reserved coconut.
