Recipe ingredients

  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) olive oil*
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 pieces of mahi-mahi
  • Sauce
  • 3/4 cup (180 mL) plain yogurt*
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chili sauce*
  • 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) minced hot pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) minced lime zest
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) shredded coconut, toasted

Preparation

In a bowl, mix sauce ingredients together, reserving half of the toasted coconut. Season with salt and pepper and keep cool.
In a ridged skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook fish 4-5 minutes per side.
Before serving, put a piece of mahi-mahi on each plate, top with sauce and sprinkle with reserved coconut.
