Recipe ingredients
- Salad
- 10 oz. (283 g) baby spinach, rinsed and spun dry
- 15 cherry tomatoes, cut in 2
- 1 oz. (30 g) Papille black beer sausage
- 1 cup (250 mL) finely chopped purple basil
- Grated 4-year-old Perron cheddar to taste
- Dressing
- ⅓ cup (80 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistibles Dijon mustard*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) Irresistibles bio honey*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) red lager beer
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Salad
In a large salad bowl, toss spinach, tomatoes, sausage and basil. Add dressing and toss. Grate cheese over top and serve.
Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk dressing ingredients together.
